The prayer ribbon was designed to capture children from around the world and to signify that no matter the nationality, children are the heart of our world.  We have to be passionate (represented by the purple) about children because our passion for them communicates belief in them.  The praying hands are worn (signifying continual prayer) and are designed to embrace all nations, generations and denominations.  As a human race, we disagree on many things, but the well-being and care of children unify all of us.  Our unified and focused efforts in prayer will make a difference for the future of all of our children. 

The middle (yellow heart) of the ribbon pops out so that you can use it as a refrigerator magnet to remind you of the monthly worldwide prayer meeting for our children.  The other magnet should be placed on your car or refrigerator as a constant reminder to all that children are the heart of this world and we must pray for them.
